23 Miles… but we finished!

It was a long haul, but we did it. The Marathon Row in Chattanooga is done. Although I still feel like I’m sitting in a boat riding the wakes, I am happy to say that everyone did a great job and we all pulled through relatively unscathed. Getting up at 5am to row for nearly 3.5 hours is the BEST way to spend a Saturday, right? Any takers for next year?? Pictures are posted to the group on flickr. Thanks to all that made the trip – I had a great time in spite of the fact that my fingers are still curled in the shape of an oar, and I can’t really stand up straight.

Marathon Row August 2nd

This weekend a few brave soles will be rowing in Chattanooga, TN this weekend for the 23 mile course for the Marathon Row. For those not going, the workout on Saturday is 3x4k, steady state row and there will not be a practice on Sunday. Be sure to check back for an update and pictures from the weekend!
